San Diego City Robotics is a very active part of the community, leading classes, volunteering, and being present at local events.  Our past events include San Diego Maker Fair, San Diego Steam Maker Fest, Robot Day at the San Diego Central Library, San Diego March for Science, SolidWorks World 2014, and the San Diego County High Tech Fair.  The team also teaches Introduction to Electronics, Introduction to Arduino, and Autonomous Arduino based Robotic Car classes around San Diego County.  This past year during the competition we got the opportunity to meet the current Mayor of San Diego Kevin Faulconer, and State Assemblymen Todd Gloria, and have appeared in News broadcasts on KUSI, Univision, and Fox5 San Diego.  We received a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition in 2015 from Representative Scott Peters, and the San Diego Mayor’s Cup for Community Outreach in 2012.  We are always looking for more ways to become further engaged in our community, and engage more individuals in the Autonomous Underwater Vehicle field!  If you would like us to appear at an event, teach a class, present our work, or otherwise be present at your function, feel free to send us an email through our contact page!
