Fund Raising

It is a truism among us that money will solve almost any problem. There is also another truth — we are a two-year institution with very little endowment money. We have a three tier approach to problem solving. First, those components which can be readily obtained either as gifts or sponsorships, or are just plain cheap and easy to find. Second, those components that can be created, either from inexpensive materials or in the case of software, open source code IDEs compilers etc. And finally, those things we must purchase, for which we often make extraordinary efforts to find sponsors that are willing to provide such items at low or no cost or, the rarest of them all, a cash endowment.
